Ghillie suit is only effective on maps that have tree and bush props, or at grassy areas. Maps or areas of maps that do not have any nature props make it an easy target to see. I don't think it's a hacker's suit. It is one of two special costumes you can get without buying and it does look cool. Alot of people ho for it, even if they hate sniping. Just like the "I hav no idea what I'm doing" patch. It's a hilarious patch so alot of people go for it.
