Because it does heat damage to damage your armor and the amount it does is above what hc life is set at. In core it wont kill you unless allready damaged, but will hurt you enough that 1-2 rounds less...

The only part of the game I have never heard complained about for hacks is extinction, and that is the greatest part of this game, probably the only reason I got the SP.

Forget the blocking. I had a hacker on my block list and they still got into a game I was playing and used hacks. There appears to be no protection from IW or xbox live from hackers. They own both.
